One thing not mentioned when changing the oil. Something my dad taught me is to rub a little bit of oil on the filter before tightening it because as the car heats up, the filter will tighten and if it isn’t lubed, it can be a bitch to get off later when you have to change it again.

Just a suggestion as to changing your car battery so you don't have to reprogram your ecu. 1. You could connect a jumper kit to the terminal before removing it. 2. Turn the car on before removing the battery.

LuL changes whole rear revese light setup for a darker version.. could have just used some dark window tint on the stock ones and saved a tone of $$.

i know this is far to late for this but the BRZ/86 platform was tyre tested and anything over 225's will equal to lower lap speeds and top speed. if i can find the video again somewhere i will post it. but they found that at 235's they were actually worse in lap times then the 215's. so putting 245's on this car is just adding to much grip to the point of detriment.. nolocal.info/have/video/p5F9i8WY1qSrl54

Now THIS is how you mod a car. Yeah, at the end of the day, do whatever makes you happy (I mean that), but if you want to have anyone other you appreciate your whip too, subtlety is key. Everyone likes a car that looks like it 'could' have come straight from the factory. A 1-inch drop or lift, slightly larger wheels/tires, a black trim piece, headlights from a different year, a subtle window-tint, etc. Doing things like this is a great way to start out, and it can even be a great way to finish a car. Jumping straight into 80 degrees of camber, a 5-foot spoiler, and fake carbon-fiber everything is a great way to get normal people (and other car people) to laugh at you. A few small changes will go much farther than slapping 22-inch chrome rims on your street car. It's okay for your car to "look" stock, as long as it actually looks good.
