Mission Control Live: NASA Lands Perseverance Mars Rover (360 video)

Vitenskap og teknologi

Watch an epic journey unfold on Thursday, Feb. 18 as our Perseverance rover lands on Mars. Watch here for a 360-degree engineer's-eye-view from inside Mission Control at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, with picture-in-picture commentary.
To reach the surface of the Red Planet, the rover has to survive the harrowing final phase known as Entry, Descent, and Landing.

Only then can the rover - the biggest, heaviest, cleanest, and most sophisticated six-wheeled robot ever launched into space - search Jezero Crater for signs of ancient life and collect samples that will eventually be returned to Earth.

This is JPL right?? Well way back when I saw a fireball and nasa houston hooked me up to you guys, and 4 days later you found it in India. I just cant find any record of it since. I look on the internet and type in everything I can think of and cant find any record. Also about 5 maybe years ago I watched a big lumpy( looked made of bumpy smaller rocks) but glowin like green kryptonite inside. Barely had a glow smoke trail and it did finally shatter just as it passed my horizion trees in the way but it sounded like a bunch of firecrackers goin off in the distance. Someone else had it on their dogwalk video on facebook but they were more underneath it in their video and It came out my NW goin south it was further to my west and lower than their video. Funny thing is when they posted it bunch of people were doggin him claimin it was photoshop but it was the lumpy kryptonie I saw. Imagine a football shape but the skin is bumpy round rocks . it wasnt spinning. Another thing I noted is apparently down south where it scattered?some sealife tradgedy happened shortly later too. Me I noted that. I cant helpit im cursed sagi attributes.

I'm surprised to see so few people in the control room, imagining the room full, with that euphoria of the employees, as it happened in the 60s, on the occasion of the great aerospace achievements. It seems that computers have simplified not only human tasks, but also their expressions of emotion. Our tribute now tends to be lonely, dedicated to everyone who participated in the success of this scientific landmark, the witch will find a biological fossil this time, but also to the brilliant minds who are no longer with us. Congratulations to NASA today and always
