To the alcohol law stuff, alcohol (specifically ethanol) has to be administered to people who have ingested anti-freeze or ethylene glycol. This is because ethylene glycol is harmless at first but is turned extremely toxic when it is broken down by alcohol dehydrogenase enzymes in your liver. However, alcohol dehydrogenases are more attracted to ethanol than ethylene glycol. So...you must drink ethanol (drinking alcohol) to distract the enzymes and allow for the ethylene glycol to safely pass through your body. This is the only excuse to give babies, children, or pets alcohol (WITH DOCTOR OR VET SUPERVISION AND APPROVAL!!)

Not only can you give your minor children alcohol in missouri but we can legally make our own moonshine in missouri. Up to 100 gallons per adult and up to 200 gallons per household with 2 or more adults per year. I make my own simply to keep my family traditions and skills alive.

So as far as the Zone of Death in Idaho, apparently some one tried to use the argument that he could not have a fair trail since it did not take place in Montana, siting the paper and the 6th amendment. The judge ruled against the argument and the trial took place. It never went to the circuit court for appeal and thus there is currently precedent to go against the 6th amendment in extreme cases.

I grew up in NY, when I was little I always used to joke that I was going to go drink whatever random bottle I grabbed from the liquor cabinet and nobody could stop me, and I was always greeted with an "Okay, go for it, you probably aren't going to like it" and... well, they were right, especially when I was ~10. Really made things less interesting when there were a dozen or so bottles I could help myself to at any time. It's probably at least partially related that I'm in my mid-30s and have never drank to excess. What's the point? It's just alcohol.

About the drinking underage laws, you forgot Wisconsin, if with a parent or guardian you can drink if you are under the age of 21. from my understanding you have to be in the presence of a parent or guardian to be able to drink underage, and that includes bars and in private residences
